Sweet Bay Stables
Fayth, or known as Fay, is a mare whose life started out tragically. Her dame and sire had grown up together and had been deeply in love so when the time came a foal was no surprise for anyone. What they couldn't expect is what happened on the day Fayth was born. The filly was stillborn but her dam pleaded to the gods for her baby to be born and live and one god complied but requested her mother's life instead and that a piece of himself, the sky god, would be put inside fay so she would not look like the child that was born. The mother agreed regardless of the price and her soul was taken instead. When her sire had come to find her since he was afraid something happened, she was so excited to meet him but seeing his dead mate he tried to kill fay but ran her off instead. It was there that she met a mare sobbing over another stillborn, and to make up for her lost child the mare adopted Fay and brought her back to the herd despite her appearance. Fay was an outcast because of her looks and her treatment was worsened when her second mother passed away. They would send her on treacherous errands for the herd hoping that she would perish along the way. It was on one of these journeys that she met the stubborn stallion Nevada, clinging to life. They started traveling together and the story continues on from there.
