Born to a clumsy mother with no instincts and a strong over-protective father Usagi was raised in the beautiful spring and summer in the wild. Just the three of them together enjoying and exploring, laughing and loving. Everything was perfect. That was until her father brought them back to his herd. There were so many people she shied away from the attention and hid usually behind her mother. Being uncomfortable in the herd Usa began to explore around the peninsula, starting her adventurous stage. She would get into so much trouble when she left that her father assigned another filly to befriend her and that's how Kay came into Usagi's crazy world. At age 5, after their herd was attacked mercilessly by a neighboring mountain herd wanting the river territory her parents went to the Warrior herd to ask for their help in defeating them. Since they were a natural poor herd surrounded by the ocean, they offered Usagi as a bride. When she found out about the offer she was infuriated that she would be just given out in a deal. But when she was rescued by Haku himself she fell in love and immediately offered herself up to leave even though her parents said she wasn't wanted by him. Of course being whatever you want to call it (crazy or adventure junky) she pranced right into the Iga

Herd and offered herself up to Haku. At first he had no interest in her knowing how clumsy and reckless she was but after seeing her caring and loyal heart he began to become attached to her. When reality hit Usagi though about the real nature of Haku she couldn't help but want to be by his side even more. And being the only light horse in the herd of shadows she took it upon herself to infiltrate the enemies base. Located on the top of the snowy peaks Usagi made her way up the mountain without telling anyone. She had never experienced such weather so she only made it halfway before passing out and later being found by Kaine. After a couple of months being by Kaine and learning of his motives she realized how close he was getting to her. Hiding his true nature he confessed to Usagi, but she knew it the whole time about what his herd was doing. She confronted him about it telling him she knew three of the herd members who attacked her herd before she 'ran away'. So after that he hid nothing from her and even brought her to battle one time to stand beside him. That battle was one against Haku and when he saw her, he was furious. Did he really not care that she had left, even though she was doing this for him? Maybe it would be better if she stayed beside Kaine...
